Our Story
DGTTestPro wasn’t built in a corporate boardroom. It was born out of frustration in a small apartment here in Málaga in 2024.
Our founder, James, moved to Andalusia from the UK and quickly realized that getting a Spanish driving license was his ticket to true freedom—to explore the pueblos blancos, do a proper shop at Mercadona without relying on public transport, and truly settle in.
He tried everything: outdated apps with clumsy translations, confusing PDF documents, and expensive online courses that didn’t feel designed for an English speaker’s perspective. After weeks of stress and uncertainty, he finally passed his theory test. But he thought, “There has to be a better, clearer, and more supportive way for other expats to do this.”
He decided to build the resource he wished he’d had: a simple, 100% free, and accurate platform dedicated to one thing—helping English speakers pass the Spanish DGT theory test with confidence.
