About DGTTestPro
DGTTestPro is a bilingual (English / Spanish) practice and exam-simulation platform for Spain's official DGT theory driving test. Built for English-speaking residents and expats, it matches the real exam format - 30 questions, 30 minutes, pass mark 27/30 - with explanations after every answer, per-topic progress tracking, and a weak-question review pile.

Why we built this
The problem is well known among expats: you arrive in Spain, your foreign driving licence is valid for a limited time, and eventually you need to pass the official DGT theory exam. The exam is hard enough in Spanish - but most practice platforms are Spanish-only, leaving English-speaking residents to study in a language they are still learning.
DGTTestPro was built to fix that. Every question, every answer option, and every explanation appears in both Spanish and English on the same screen. Candidates can switch languages at any time, study at their own pace, and simulate the real 30-question, 30-minute exam format before they sit it for real.
How our question bank is maintained
Our question bank is aligned with the official DGT syllabus and reviewed quarterly. Questions cover all topics examined by the DGT: road signs and markings, right-of-way rules, speed limits, alcohol and drug limits, the demerit-points system, vehicle mechanics, and safe driving behaviour.
Each question is cross-referenced against the current Reglamento General de Circulación and the DGT's published question categories. When regulations change - as they did with low-emission zone rules and updated alcohol limits in recent years - we update the affected questions and explanations. Our study chapters and expat guides carry a "Last updated" date so you always know how current the content is.

Independence
DGTTestPro is not the Dirección General de Tráfico, not a driving school, and is not affiliated with either. We are an independent study aid. Exam fees, question bank content, and official booking procedures are set by the DGT - our role is to help you prepare for them as efficiently as possible.
