The bilingual question: why it matters
The DGT theory exam is conducted in Spanish. If you opt for English on the DGT website, you receive an English translation of the exam - but many test-takers report that the translations can be slightly awkward, and that studying only in English leaves them uncertain when they see the Spanish original during the test.
Studying bilingually - with both languages visible at once - builds familiarity with the Spanish phrasing without requiring you to read fluent Spanish.
