Why this is the correct answer
Under Article 29.1 of the General Traffic Regulations, as a general rule all vehicles must keep to the right and as close as possible to the edge of the carriageway, especially on bends and brows of hills with limited visibility, while leaving enough lateral clearance to pass oncoming traffic safely.
