When reversing as part of another manoeuvre, may you cross an intersection?

Why this is the correct answer
Under Article 80.2 of the General Traffic Regulations, reversing as part of stopping, parking or joining traffic must not exceed 15 metres or enter a road junction. It must also be limited to the minimum distance necessary (Art. 80.1).
