Why this is the correct answer
A category B licence allows towing light trailers of up to 750 kg maximum authorised mass (Art. 4.2 of the General Driver Regulations). It also allows trailers over 750 kg if the combination's MAM does not exceed 4,250 kg. If the combination exceeds 3,500 kg, the driver must first pass an extra skills and behaviour test or complete specific training (code 96, Art. 5.5).
